Bonnie Rader

Bonnie was raised in Rowlett, Texas where she graduated from Rowlett High School in 2002. She attended Texas Tech University where she graduated with a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Political Science in 2007. Bonnie continued at Texas Tech University and Texas Tech University School of Law and graduated in 2010 with a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and law degree (J.D.).

Bonnie started interning at the Lubbock County Criminal District Attorney’s Office in 2008 and was hired as a full time attorney upon passing the Texas bar exam in 2010. Bonnie worked at the Lubbock County Criminal District Attorney’s office representing Child Protective Services from 2010 until March 2014.

In March 2014, Bonnie teamed up with Aaron Carter and Carter & Rader was formed in mid-2015.

Bonnie is a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the Lubbock Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Bonnie maintains an active Family Law practice, and is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after family law attorneys in the area. She aggressively represents clients in highly contested divorce cases, child custody battles, child support cases, adoptions, enforcement actions, and represents clients where Child Protective Services (CPS) is involved.

During her free time, Bonnie enjoys attending concerts, playing with her dogs, Harper and Judge, and supporting Texas Tech University, the Texas Rangers, and the Dallas Cowboys.
